The Chairperson of the FANRPAN Board of Governors is on a mission to ensure that FANRPAN is truly a continental network. Having started in the southern and eastern parts of Africa, FANRPAN assumed a continental mandate in 2010, and since then, has seen the addition of Benin as the first West African state to formally establish a node. With the coming in of Prof Osho as chairperson in February 2019, focus has shifted on ensuring that the network serves and supports the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) towards the transformation of their food, agriculture and natural resources policies.
