FANRPAN convened a side event on “The role of women and youth in Agriculture” on the side-lines of the 14th CAADP PP Meeting on the 25th of April 2018, in Mayunde at Hôtel Radisson BLU, Libreville, Gabon.
The aim of the side event was to engage stakeholders in an in-depth discussion on the role of women and youth in the transformation of agriculture under the “Agripreneurship and the role of the youth and women” sub-theme of the PP meeting.
The side event was attended by over 20 state and no-state actors from across the continent who are engaged in championing policy development to transform African agriculture. Five (5) FANRPAN Youth Champions also participated in this event to learn and share their experiences in the food, agriculture and natural resources (FANR) sector.
