ALL 5 Day Doha registration is now open!
3 December 2012

On behalf of the Agriculture, Landscapes and Livelihoods Day 5 (ALL 5 Day) Consortium, I would like to invite you to participate at ALL 5 Day , which will take place on December 3, 2012 in Doha, Qatar. Registration is open here:

Agriculture Day started in 2009 during COP15 with the aim of placing agriculture firmly on the map of the negotiations. Over the years, the event has helped raise the profile of agriculture, making linkages to related issues such as forestry, and feeding into the efforts of delegations from around the world seeking to develop a better understanding of the challenges of climate change for agriculture.

Our event has been joined in the past by a number of high level representatives, a testament to the importance of the issue and the value of the effort taking place. This year, for its fifth iteration, Agriculture Day is fully embracing the broader scope of topics linked to agriculture and will be held under the name of Agriculture, Landscapes and Livelihoods Day, and in collaboration with Forest Day as part of the 'Living Landscapes' activities.

The focus for ALL 5 Day on 3 December is to create a platform for knowledge exchange to help identify:
  1. existing, large scale solutions to specific mitigation and adaptation challenges that can benefit farmers, in particular small scale farmers;
  2. gaps where there are limited existing solutions or limited available knowledge;
  3. potential trade-offs in implementing existing, known solutions.
I sincerely hope that you would consider joining us together with the 800+ in person and online audience which the event gathers. I remain at your disposal should you have any questions.

Sincere regards,
