WARM Project Women Advocates
30 November 2010

In September 2010, FANRPAN in partnership with the National Smallholder Farmers Association of Malawi (NASFAM) trained a cadre of community policy advocates from rural communities in Malawi. The women farmers trained were selected because they were already leaders in their own right and had the potential to mobilize their fellow farmers and be champions of the WARM project. They were equipped with basic advocacy skills to enable them to participate in agriculture decision-making processes.
