This is the second call for the International Joint Conference on AGRO-ICT- technologies, equipment and know-how that will be held on the 16th to 18th of November in Entebbe/Uganda and we are delighted to inform that the Ugandan Minister of State for Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Honourable Aggrey, H Bagiire confirmed his participation. The Minister will open the conference and is inviting all who are interested in the achievement of a positive development of African Agriculture.

Kindly download his invitation here

One of the main reasons to attend the conference is the discussion on innovative ways of using ICT within agriculture in a framework affected by cooperation and integration, but also the debate on how to finance such new ways and systems. There are many institutes and donor organizations who are investing into farm- and land management systems with the hope to realize a sustainable bettering especially at small holder farm level. Many failed attempts result in their claim for improved practical solutions and we will show during these 3 days completely new solutions, which are different but support farmers way of thinking. Maybe Uganda will lead the new way for Africa?!

Some important organizational aspects of the forthcoming conference.
