Njongenhle M. B. Nyoni, a young researcher specialising in Developmental project designs, initiatives and implementation, provides the Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) thematic thrust with research assistance. He is conscious of the cutting - edge developmental issues that have taken a central position in Southern Africa and the globe in general. He has participated in several Food Security and CSA initiatives/projects including some funded by COMESA and ACBF. As a youth, he recognizes that he is a leader and a key player in the society, and has a responsibility to respond to one of the strongest moral callings of our time by exerting his influence to creating more sustainable societies. Thus, he is determined to instill and nurture a culture of sustainable learning, research, understanding and critical thinking. Njongenhle holds a BSc Agricultural Sciences Degree and a MSc Agriculture Degree, and currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of the Witwatersrand focusing on the impacts of climate change (warming) on livestock production.
