The World Food Prize is the foremost international award recognizing the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world. It was created by Dr Norman E. Borlaug in 1986. The World Food Prize emphasizes the importance of a nutritious and sustainable food supply for all people.

FANRPAN CEO moderated a session themed "The Ebola Crisis: One year later" at the 2015 Borlaug Conference on the 14th October 2015. She also attended the associated side events which are related to ending hunger, promoting agriculture and improving nutrition and food security.

The 2015 Borlaug Conference will celebrate the 101st anniversary of the birth of Dr. Norman E. Borlaug. Referred to as the "premier conference in the world on global agriculture", the 2015 Borlaug Dialogue features expertise and diverse perspectives of governmental leaders; policymakers; farmers; CEOs and executives from agribusiness and non-governmental organizations; and scientific, academic and development experts from around the world.
