| Dealing with Soaring Food Prices through Agricultural Innovations |
| International Agriculture Training Centre - Israel |
| 29 October 2009 - 16 November 2009 |
|
"Soaring food prices have triggered worldwide concern about threats to global food security...the focus should be on strengthening the agriculture sectors of developing countries to enable them to respond to growth in food demand. Expanding food production through enhanced productivity must constitute the cornerstone of policies, strategies and programmes seeking to attain a sustainable solution for food security..."
