The FANRPAN CEO was guest speaker at the African Agricultural Economists Meeting that was held in Accra Ghana, 20-22 August. The meeting was attended by some 250 delegates, mainly agricultural economists, development partners and government officials. In her message, Dr Sibanda emphasized that the time is now for economists to show relevance. This is because for the first time in the history of development, African leaders have set development targets that are quantifiable and time bound- CAADP.
