• Meeting was convened by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
• Focal group established comprising 18 institutions from public and private sectors, and civil society
• Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development selected to host the node
• National Steering Committee established comprising eight member institutions

• To elaborate FANRPAN program activities for the focal group in Angola
• To solicit FANRPAN to conduct supportive consultancy on the activities defined by the focal group in Angola
• Identify suitable projects in Angola, with focus on demand driven research
