Mr Lufingo Witson Mwamakamba

Lufingo leads FANRPAN’s communications, policy advocacy and partnerships. Lufingo is responsible for managing all communications, campaigns, network development, advocacy, digital and media to deliver FANRPAN’s vision and mission. He is responsible for managing strategic partnerships with the host government, network membership and with regional and international partner organizations. Furthermore, he is responsible for facilitating stakeholder engagement as well as the development of productive partnerships in which FANRPAN operates. He is also responsible for creating awareness, developing and disseminating information to the general public, farmer organizations, media, government, NGOs, private sector, development partners and other key players in the field on critical issues relating to FANRPAN’s mission. He manages the FANRPAN Nodes to ensure that communications and advocacy targets are met, and market FANRPAN’s work to effectively reach target audiences and create new opportunities for partnerships and support. Lufingo is a member of the Whova Event Organizer Advisory Council. Lufingo holds an MSc in Health Promotion and Public Health from Brunel University in London, UK; Post-graduate Specialization in Hospital Administration and Health Systems, Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, Sao Paulo, Brazil and a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, University of East Africa, Baraton – Eldoret, Kenya
